We are starting to deploy iPhones 3G S and I think it would be a great feature if LANrev could perform device tracking of iPhones using the built-in GPS. That way, when tracking is enabled, the iPhone would send it's current GPS coordinates at every heartbeat.
Another interesting feature would be the ability to remote wipe an iPhone.
In fact, it would be great if LANrev could perform the same tasks as MobileMe but in an enterprise environment. |

Sorry but this is not possible since the iPhone OS specifically prohibits an app from running in the background, thus making any device tracking and the rest of the functionality you've mentioned impossible. As a result the end user would have to manually launch a LANrev app, which is not really feasible.
